My latest painting ‘The Visitors’ is finished and up on the site. It’s a large figurative painting and it represents the coming together of a lot of themes i’ve been exploring for many years. It also is the second time that Slim Jim Milton Malone has appeared in one of my paintings. There are some details here and also I thought it might be interesting to show some of the reference material for the figures.

A new painting in my Holes series (V) is finished and in the art section. I think the genesis of this one was either from a picture of a bullethole in a car door or in the side of a deer (see below), either way it’s bullet-related. I’m working on a large figurative painting at the moment, tentatively called The Visitors, which should be finished soon. Most of these recent paintings will be on show at my art event Salon16 in late May/early June. More info on that will be coming shortly… cheers David
